Content Description

Collection of 37 oral history recordings completed between 1994 and 2009 with members of the Auckland College of Education's alumni organisation the Old A's. The oral history project was coordinated for the alumni assocation by Judy Baird. Each recording is accompanied by an abstract, transcript and release form.

Charles Egerton letters to H.J. Allen.

Collection consists of a folder of photocopies of letters written by Charles William Egerton to his friend H.J. Allen in India who was then teaching at Presidency College, Madras. The letters contain interesting insights into university life, New Zealand social circumstances and Egerton's family life. The eleven letters date from 1894 to 1916.
